Seiko Epson world's first 4K  HTPS LCD panel for 3LCD projectors

Seiko Epson has announced the development of world's first 4K  (4096 x 2160 pixels) HTPS (High Temperature Poly-Silicon) LCD panel for 3LCD projectors. The 4K panel which measures 1.64 inches (4.2 cm) diagonally, enables a resolution approximately four times the one of Full HD 1080p. 

The new technology is made possible thanks to Epson’s C2Fine technology which will let the 4K panel supply high quality, high contrast images with deep black colours.
