Eizo ColorEdge CG243W DisplayPort LCD monitor
Eizo today announced a new DisplayPort LCD monitor called ColorEdge CG243W. CG243W is 24.1-inches and has a IPS LCD panel with a a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels in the 16:10 aspect ratio. CG243W features two DVI-I inputs and a DisplayPort connection which accepts 10-bit PC video signals and can display 1.07 billion colours from a pallet of 68 billion, which is 64 times more than the usual 16.7 million colours with 8-bit DVI-I display.
CG243W has a maximum brightness of 270 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 850:1 and reproduces 98 % of Adobe RGB colours. CG243W is designed for pre-press, digital photagraphy, video-editing and post-production, propbably most suitable for professionals.
