Eizo FORIS FX2431 LCD monitor
Eizo has announced that they’re now shipping the FORIS FX2431 LCD monitor. FORIS FX2431, which is the first FORIS monitor to be sold outside Japan, is a 24.1-inch Full HD LCD monitor designed for movie watchers and gamers. The FORIS FX2431 has two HDMI inputs, built-in speakers, composite- and S-video inputs. Up to four computers can be connected at once to the monitor using all the different inputs. It features the new ”Auto USB Selection” and two upstream USB ports for simultaneous sharing of one keyboard and mouse between two connected computers.
FORIS FX2431 native resolution is 1920 x 1200 pixels, but that doesn’t stop the user from playing old video games, such as 8-bit games – as they can be played in double the original size without distortion or blur, thanks to a mode called ”Real Image”. FORIS FX2431 has a dynamic contrast ratio between 1000:1 to 2000:1 depending on settings and a maximum brightness of 360cd/m2 as well as a response time of 6 ms.
Eizo’s FORIS FX2431 LCD monitor is out now at some retailers with an unknown price. Read more (PDF)
