JVC Ultra High Definition projector
Japanese JVC have developed a projector that supports so-called ”Ultra High Definition images. The projector has about 4000 scanning lines and uses three units of JVCs D-ILA reflective LCD panel for each of the RGB Colours. The projector can display up to an massive 8192 x 4320 pixels, or approximately 35 Megapixel images and it can project sufficently bright images on screens as large as 400-600 inches with a contrast ratio of 5500:1. The new projector does not only project massive images, it also weighs 168 kg.
JVC 4K2K 60P camcorder
JVC has also announced a newly developed camera called ”4K2K 60P”, a camcorder which records in the resolution up to 3840×2160 pixels (4K x 2K) with a frame rate of 60 fps.
