LG has announced that their new HDTVs will be the first LCDs to recieve THX Display Cerficitation in the U.S. market. The models are called the LH90 series and are LED-backlit LCD HDTVs which will be available in the sizes 42, 47 and 55-inches. The LH90 series HDTVs features 1080p resolution, 240Hz refresh rate and a 2000 000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The 42-inch costs $1,899.95 USD, the 47-inch $2,399.95 USD and the 55-inch $3,199.95 USD.
