Panasonic 85-inch Full HD Plasma display compared to a 42-inch model
Panasonic has announced they are developing a 85-inch Full HD Plasma display. Panasonic’s 85-inch plasma has the screen size of four 42-inch panels and is big enough to show a person in full size when installed vertically, still it is only 99 mm thick. The display will support LAN control and the possibility of adding up to three different terminal boards, such as DVI and Dual Link HD-SDI. The 85-inch weighs approximately 130 kg and is designed for professional users. Panasonic’s 85-inch Plasma display will be released in Japan and U.S.A. in Fall 2009. Read more
