Panasonic has announced they are to deliver the first HD winter olympic games for Vancouver 2010. Panasonic will supply big screens, cameras and other equipment and enables Vancouver games to be the first Olympic winter games to be broadcast completely in HD format.

LED video screens with a total display area of 243 m2 will togeterher with the Panasonic AV systems and plasma display panels be a part of the spectacle of the opening ceremonies. So when you watch the Vancouver Olympic winter games next year, probably all screens, projectors and cameras will be supplied by Panasonic, as well as the image-feed you’re receiving to your TV.
