Panasonic has presented the world’s largest HDTV at CES 2010 in Las Vegas: a 152-inch 4K2K (4096 x 2160 pixels) Plasma. The 152-inch plasma has a revolutionary new plasma display panel (PDP) which Panasonic has developed with a new quadruple luminous effiency technology which enhances the PDP’s abillity to deliver an overwhelming immersive experience to the viewers. The plasma seems to deliver one Full HD 1080p image to each eye to a viewer wearing a pair of 3D-glasses.
Panasonic thinks this giant will be suitable not only for home theaters but also for businesses, medical, education and commercial applications. Pricing and availabillity for the Panasonic 152-inch 4K plasma HDTV is yet to be announced. Source: Akihabaranews
