Sharp AQUOS D series Full HD TVs
Today, Sharp Corporation announced that they will introduce 10 new models of the AQUOS D series of Full HD LCD TVs into the Japanese market. The series is according to Sharp ”achieving one of the highest energy efficiences in the industry” and will use a newly developed High-Picture-Quality Master Engine. The new engine consists of several technological components:
- ”Clear double speed” which detects image movement.
- ”Active conditioner” which automatically adjusts contrast and hue to match what is on the screen.
The models will come in 32″, 40″, 46″ and 52″-sizes. The models will mostly be in black or white, but some of them are avaiable in a red colour. Users of the D-series will have access to compatible online video content with multi-channel broadcasts and video-on demand, as well as a AQUOS-exclusive HD content.
