Some LCD displays from Sharp should be banned from the U.S. according to U.S. trade agency. Japanese Sharp uses a technology that infringes patented technology owned by by South Korean Samsung. Samsung issued four different claims of patent infingements, but they only won the one called ”Liquid Crystal Display having wide viewing angel” from 2004.

LCD TVs from Sharp made overseas that uses the patented inventions by Samsung risks being banned in the U.S. Among the models that violated the patented, the Aquos line of HDTVs is included. Sharp hasn’t already got the full decision, but it does not look good. Read more
