Sony PS3 Slim
Sony has announced a new slimmer and lighter edition of their console Playstation 3. The new model is called ”PS3 Slim” and is 32% smaller, 36% lighter and consumes 34% less energy than the standard PS3. The PS3 Slim comes with the same features as the original PS3, but you will not be able to play old Playstation 2-games or install Linux on it. By the release of PS3 Slim, Sony will reduce the price on the regular PS3 with a 160 Gigabyte harddrive down to $ 399 USD and the 80 Gigabyte harddrive down to $ 299 USD by August 18, 2009.
Ps3 slim features: Internal 120 Gigabyte harddrive, a Cell Broadband Engine CPU, a RSX GPU, two USB 2.0 input/outputs, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, HDMI out, AV multi out, Digital optical connector, Blu-ray drive.
